16hh 7yr old bay TB gelding. Absolutely classic eventing type.  Gorgeous nature, no vices, no issues, and absolutely no buck/rear etc. Very quiet at home and out at shows. He is soft and supple on the flat and is a naturally well balanced horse. He has a wonderful canter - stays in the same rhythm and does great flying changes.   He is bold and honest in both SJ and XC, and nothing is an issue - banks, ditches, water etc are no problem at all.  A totally genuine young horse. Approx 15.3hh rising 5yr old TB gelding by Starway - sire of 3* and 4* eventers.  Phenominal jumper - literally the bravest boldest young horse around. Bold, straightforward, and very very honest. Stunning Young  Sporthorse

16.1hh 4yr old gelding by the leading American Stallion Dehere. Very few Deheres in NZ, and this guy certainly makes me want to find more!  Beautiful looking young horse, with a great attitude. Easy to ride and handle in every way. He is a super jumper - his knees are up and square over every fence, and he never touches a pole. Very careful and bold as brass. 'Monty' is a stunning big moving 16.3hh 7yr old TB gelding. He has won and placed up to Elementary dressage, 1.05m SH, show hunter, and also pre novice eventing (1.05m).  He is beautifully trained on the flat, all lateral work well established and has a fabulous medium trot.  A professionally produced young horse with a great brain and tonnes of ability.

Superstar Eventer

16.2hh 6yrs old.  Possibly one of the most talented young horses on the NZ circuit, Junior has only been eventing one season and already had a top few placing at Puhinui CCI* in December, then went on to place 2nd in the CCI* Championship class at Taupo.  Angela Lloyd has done a brilliant job of producing him through to this level, and Im sure he will continue on to be the upper level star that everyone believes he will be.  He was sold straight after the SJ at Taupo - his new owner only sat on him for a few minutes and bought him on the spot.  He has now flown out to his new home in Canada.

 UPDATE:  Inmidair has won (by 8 marks)  his first start on Canadian soil!

Talented Young Eventer

15.3hh 6yr old gelding, by the well known dressage stallion Belmont Golden Boy.  He only started eventing in March with rider Barbara Wallis, and in a little over 2 months he won and placed most times out, and then went on to finish 2nd by a fraction of a mark, at the Taupo CCI* Open section.  He may be small, but he's a little pocket rocket with a jump to match! 

Experienced 2* Eventer

"Henry" is a 16.2hh 10yr old intermediate eventer, with 58 HT points.  He has completed three 2*'s with clean XC and excellent placings.  With a safe honest jump and great movement, he is the ultimate packer.  He has been sold to a fabulous new home in the USA - sold to the first person to sit on him!  Congratulations Sarah, and best wishes for many successful times ahead!

166.5cm 9yr old gelding. Stunning looking horse, as the photo shows!  He is currently graded Medium and has 21 Open Medium points (4th/5th level).  This horse is a true gentleman and seldom comes home without gaining further points. He has even evented with success and has a tonne of scope.  He is a clean and bold showjumper, very comfortable at 1.25m.

Superstar 4* Stallion

16.2hh 9yr old chestnut stallion.  He has rarely been unplaced at any FEI event through to CCI**** level.  Most notable performances include 2nd Puhinui CCI*** 2003, 15th Badminton CCI****, 7th Burghley CCI**** 2004.  He is super quiet, and seems to have passed on this temperament to all his offspring - the oldest of whom are 5yrs and about to start eventing.  We wish Kurt and his connections every success for the future, and we know his breeders Joss and John Bayly will be keenly following his career.

Fabulous Young Prelim Horse

16.3hh 7yr old TB x gelding.  Originally bred and produced by one of NZ's leading GP show jump riders, he has had an excellent grounding in jumper classes.  He then moved on to event rider Sally Clark, who produced him through to his first CCI* in May where he finished in the top few in a huge class of 70 horses.  Billabong heads to a new home in Texas where his training will continue to take him up through the grades with his new owner Mimi Falb.

16.1hh chestnut TB gelding by Sambuk. This young TB has the brain of a horse 15 years his senior!  He is absolutely quiet and well mannered, and is a real people person.  He has gained many dressage wins and placings up to 2nd level, and also competed training eventing. He is very reliable and we wish his new family every success!!

Intermediate Eventer

This georgous TB gelding, is definitely one who turns heads wherever he goes.  At 16.2hh and 8 years old, he has come through the grades to CCI** level in just over one season.  He has movement to die for, and a big bold and scopey jump.  After searching all around the world for her next WEG/Olympic potential eventer, Silver's new owner sat on him for just 1 minute, and stated she simply "had to have him"!!  I don't think we have ever seen a more excited client when finding the horse of their dreams, and of course we wish this new partnership every success!!

Intermediate Eventer

16.1hh 8yr old chestnut TB gelding.  After a solid grounding at prelim and CCI* level, he recently moved up to Intermediate and placed at his first start.  Well produced by rider Melanie-Jane Blair, he has been sold to the USA where he will be produced further and head to the upper levels.

SOLD LOCALLY.  16hh 14yr old gelding.  TB cross.  Extremely sensible and beautifully well schooled.  Has over 140 dressage points, and completed the Taupo CCI* in the ribbons.  Very safe XC horse, and a great show jumper.  Perfect PC Champs mount.

Young Prelim Eventer

16.1 1/2hh 5yr old TB gelding.   This georgous young horse has the most incredible temperament, and has an excellent performance record in his short career.  He is always in the top 3 after dressage and is a very bold, honest jumper. He was sold a month ago, but stayed in NZ so that he could gain some more mileage for his new USA owner.  Arbitrate has now left NZ for a fabulous new home in Illinois.

CCI** Eventer

Very sad to see my lovely horse leave NZ....Georgous 16hh 8yr old NZTB gelding, by "One Pound Sterling".  Jumped clean XC at every outing, including numerous 1*'s and Puhinui CCI**.  An absolute jumping machine who loves his job!  Thanks to Wendy Mahoney for producing him through to 2* level, and we will all watch his progress in the USA with great interest. 

Update: (2006) Sadly Buzzy (known as Do You Dare in the USA) contracted the deadly disease EPM and though no expense was spared in trying to save him, sadly he passed away in July 2006.  Huge thanks of course go to Ivy Le Donne for taking care of him during his illness, and Im just sorry that he wasn't going to be well enough to travel back here to NZ to retire as we had both hoped.

Awesome Schoolmaster!

Georgous and fancy, this 17hh 12yr old gelding has loads of intermediate mileage, and is advanced on points. He is schooled to 4th level dressage, and loves to do half pass and flying changes. He is also successful in the hunter ring.  There's not much he hasn't done!  This lovely chestnut boy has gone to be a schoolmaster in a wonderful home in the US, where we know he will be treated like royalty! 

 

 

Advanced Eventer   

15.3hh 8yr old bay gelding.  Winner at CIC* and won two of his intermediate starts this season.  He ran clean XC around his first advanced start, and turned a lot of heads with his scope and ability.  The bigger the fences, the better he jumps!!  Originally produced by Catriona Williams, he was then passed on to Melanie-Jane Blair by owner Pip McCarroll.  We wish Billy's new owners every success, and will look forward to hearing when he has his first CCI*** start, and then on to 4*!

Update:  (2007) King Billy is now with US rider Buck Davidson and performing extremely well!

Super Talented SJ/Eventer

16hh, 6yrs old and is sired by NZ's number one jumping sire "Distlefink" (sire of the Puhinui CCI*** winner 2003 and many GP show jumpers).  She is a lovely natured mare, and has inherited the jump that this line of horses are so well known for.  After a season of success in the 6yr old (1.20m) SJ and SH classes, PJ has now started her eventing career with much success at training, she moved quickly to prelim and jumped around like an absolute superstar!.  She certainly is the type of horse who will be successful in any field!  Purpose bred by owner Catriona Williams, out of her NZ rep jumping mare Propoganda.  "PJ" has been sold within NZ, and will be out and about next season with her new owner!

 

Awesome YR Show Jumper

16.1hh -16.2hh 6yr old Gisborne bred gelding.  Owned by Catriona Williams, ridden for the past 12 months by Mark Brooks.  Currently competing successfully in the 6yr old series at 1.20m to 1.25m.  Very easy and uncomplicated horse, who would be a fabulous YR horse.   This lovely talented young horse, is genuinely offered for sale through no fault of his own.  He is located in the Cambridge area and is priced to sell.

26 Oct 03 - UPDATE:  Trevor has arrived in Virginia, and Petra is absolutely thrilled with her new horse.  His gentle temperament, and quiet nature - not to mention  his flashy, above-average movement, now has Petra itching to get him out and compete as soon as possible!!

He is consistantly in the ribbons, and now he has moved from Toronto, Canada, to a brand new home in New York.  We wish his new owner all the best!

10 October 03 - UPDATE:  Puzzle is living the life of riley in his new home in NY.  Owner Mary is thrilled with him and has had a tonne of fun on him already.

16.1hh  old grey TB gelding, just turned 13yrs. This horse has a very consistant record at 2* level, with lots of regular placings.  He recently placed in the top few at the National One Day Champs, and was also in the 2nd at the Puhinui CCI**, taking out the Young Rider Trophy also - for the best performed YR combination over the whole event.  Satori has gone to Georgia, USA, where he will be a brilliant schoolmaster for his new young rider owner to learn from. 

20 Sept 03 - UPDATE:  Satori has proven to be a real hit with his new owners, and has become a part of the family very quickly.  They are thrilled with their new horse, and trainer Imti Anees is also thrilled to have found them such a well trained schoolmaster.

Taupo CCI** Winner 2003.  16.2hh 9yr old TB gelding. This is a very exciting horse, who was a late starter  (but incredibly successful) to eventing, with owner/rider Tim Price.   Vortex has been sold to Swedish WEG and Olympic rider, Paula Tornqvist, and we will watch his progress through to 4* level with great interest.  Vortex will have another Kiwi Sporthorse as his stablemate - the talented Karamea Dublin.

25 Oct 03 - UPDATE:  We spoke with Paula last week and she once again confirmed how incredibly excited and thrilled she is to have found such an amazing horse.  She is extremely excited about him, and is already planning the road to 4* success!!

Beautiful 16.1hh 6yr old mare.  By Zabalou (himself by NZ's all time number 1 eventing sire, Aberlou) out of a Han x TB mare.  Zena is one classy mare, with a fantastic temperament. She is extremely well schooled on the flat, and is always in the top few after the dressage. She has a lovely jump, and nothing is an issue. She has gone consistantly double clear at training level, and completed 4 x prelims in her first season with excellent results. This mare has also had extensive experience in the show hunter ring - placing well most times out.  Zena has been sold to a fabulous new home in Texas.

Intermediate eventer.  7 year old TB gelding.  A talented young horse, who has completed a season at intermediate and 2* level.  He recently completed the Taupo CCI** with clean XC and a qualification towards 3* level.  Kravitz has been sold to a fabulous new home in Georgia, USA.

2004:  Imti and Freetown place 4th at their first advanced start, and then 12th in their first CCI***.  We have just  received a very excited phone call from Imti, who was so excited about his horse that it was hard to get a word in!  His 12th placing at Fox Hall was outstanding.  Now qualified for Athens, we'll wait to see if he gets to go!

16.1hh 8yr old Grey TB gelding.  By Sir Triad, the same sire as Icy Grey, intermediate eventer sold earlier in the year to the USA.   Westpoint has a brilliant record at CCI* and prelim, winning his last two starts.  He is immaculately well trained on the flat, and a totally reliable jumper.  He has been beautifully produced over the past 4 years by his owner/rider Danielle Nixon.  Westpoint has been sold to Maryland, USA.

1 July 03 - UPDATE:  Westpoint's new owner loves her new horse and has found him to be incredibly quiet and gentle, and a real people person.  He loves to be ridden, and loves to be fussed over in the stable.   

Full sized, 11yr old Grand Prix SJ pony.  Not only is he a talented show jumper, but he has also proven himself in the dressage ring, as well as open (prelim) level eventing.  This pony is the ultimate all rounder, with a temperament to match.  He has been sold to a fabulour new home where the whole family will enjoy him for many years to come. 

Puhinui CCI** Winner December 2002.  At only 14.3hh, and 8yrs old, this little horse has achieved more in the past 3 years, than a lot of horses achieve in a lifetime!  He had his first advanced start in November 2002, and then went on to win the CCI** a few weeks later.  He is also named on the 2003 NZ Development Squad, with rider Melanie-Jane Blair.  Wee Preferido is now in a wonderful new home in Northern Ireland.

1 May 03 - UPDATE: "Didley" is enjoying life in Ireland, and his new mum keeps in regular contact with his old NZ owner.  They were placed in all of their first 5 starts, and we hope this winning streak will continue!

Another quality horse from Team Williams....NRM Mama Mia is a 16hh 8yr old mare by "Uraeus".  This beautiful mare is all class.  She is a phenominal show jumper - as seen in the photo!  She started out eventing as a 5yr old, and then turned to pure SJ as she showed incredible jumping talent.  Having had her first Grand Prix start late last year, she now heads to Northern Ireland, where she has a career change back to eventing.  We look forward to watching her progress with new owner, Sasha Harrison. 

10 October 03 - UPDATE:  "Dazzle" and Sasha had their first CCI* run at Weston Park in the UK, and finished in 6th place.  Sasha of course was very excited, and was thrilled that Dazzle came through the event so well. 

16hh, 6yr old TB gelding. Placed consistantly in this his first season eventing. He completed his first CCI* in December 2002, finishing with no jumping penalties, to lie in 10th place. A lovely type of horse with a big future ahead of him. Signed 'n' Sealed heads to a new home in Northern Ireland.

16.3hh 9yr old TB mare.  This mare is a very fancy mover, and an awesome jumper.  She has only been eventing for a short time, and already has clocked up an impressive record.  She was clean XC at her 4 Intermediate starts, and finished 2nd in the very tough Foxton CCI* in December 2002.  Girl Interrupted joins Royal Honor in Florida, to be trained and competed by Peter Gray. 

16.1hh 5yr old chestnut TB gelding.  Purpose bred to event, this young horse has had a great start at prelim level already.  He has been sold by his breeder, to a wonderful new home in Portland, Oregan.  When competing in the USA, he will show under the name "In Any Event" - so look out for him on the West Coast!

Beautiful 17.1hh 6yr old TB Gelding. A complete gentle giant, this horse has quite a fan club already! He is a beautiful mover, and has a lovely jump to match. He has been sold to Florida, where he will be produced to event.

LA Connection is a 16.2hh 9yr old TB gelding.  He is an advanced eventer, with an impressive performance record.  His rider has accepted a full time position riding for the O'Connors, so he was reluctantly offered for sale.  He now heads to Maryland, on the east coast of the USA.  He has a great personality, and is immaculately well schooled, and we are sure he will carry on his winning ways in his new home.

16.2hh 10yr old TB gelding.  This horse is a cross country machine. He was clear at his first CCI** at Taupo 2002, and has jumped consistantly clean at Intermediate level this season.  He heads to a new life in Boston, where he will be prepared for his first advanced start.  Ice and the little black advanced mare Kowhai were both owned in NZ by the same rider, and were sold to the same buyer in the USA.  Good luck Bruce and Mike!!

16 Oct 03 - UPDATE:  Ice recently completed the Radnor CCI** with Bruce Mandeville.  They were in 6th place going into the SJ, however they dropped back in the field during this phase.  Bruce however was thrilled with how the horse performed, and says it was just bad luck that the fences came down.

This is a simply georgous 7yr old 16.3hh TB gelding.  With a very successful season at prelim already completed, he has also had 4 x intermediate starts.  He was originally destined to join Catriona's team of NRM eventers, but instead he has gone to Boston, USA.

18 Oct 03 - UPDATE:  Initially purchased to produce and sell on, Secret has had a good season under YR Ashley Dalton, and has now been sold to a wonderful new home in Boston. 

16.1hh TB gelding. Mr Freeze has recently completed the Puhinui CCI** with ease, and is now off to Boston. We wish his new owner - Canadian YR Katie Evans, the best of luck with her new horse!

UPDATE:  We caught up with Katie, while on our travels in the US.  Katie absolutely LOVES Mr Freeze, and says he is by far the best jumper she has ridden.  He is exceptionally well balanced and extremely scopey.  They have already started advanced with success, and hope to have their first 3* next season.  They finished in 10th place in the extremely tough Radnor CCI** and were the highest placed Canadian combination.

NRM Rock Star is a stunning 16hh, 5yr old TB gelding, who was destined to be Catriona's next "Toffee Pops". Unfortunately due to Catrionas recent accident, NRM Rock Star was reluctantly offered for sale. As expected, he was sold to the first person to see him, and he heads off to Bruce Mandeville's barn in Boston, USA, where we are sure he will have every opportunity to become the star that Catriona and Rose (his part owner) thought he would be.

This 16.1hh 6yr old TB gelding is a super young horse, with an exceptional attitude and temperament. He is completely quiet, and easy to ride and handle. He takes everything in his stride, and never blows up or does anything silly. He is lovely on the flat, and is a very honest jumper. He has had 4 training starts, jumped clean, and placed each time out. He is now competing prelim with consistently clean XC, and always finishes in the top 10. He had a win at his first prelim of the new season. He has also recently completed his first CCI*, with a young rider. Nothing is a problem for this young horse, and he would easily be ridden by an amateur. His temperament is second to none, and he is one of the quietest 6yr old TB's around. He is jetting off to a wonderful new home in Colorado!

5 June 03 - UPDATE:  Fred has been adored since the day he arrived in Colorado.  He loves his beet pulp, and calls out to his new mum every time she comes in the barn.  He has turned out to be a pretty perfect match!

16hh, 8yr old Chestnut TB gelding. Barry is a very prolific winner on the NZ Show Hunter circuit. He is seldom unplaced, and always performs well at every show. He has a great style over the fence, and maintains a great rhythm in between. He does auto changes, and really is one of the most genuine hunters around. Barik is off to a new home in sunny California.

Georgous 16.1hh, 6yr old NZTB gelding. This beautiful young horse was 2nd at his last training start, and completed his first prelim with a clean cross country. He is a beautiful looking horse, with a lovely jump, and we are sure he will be hugely successful for his new owner in Canada!

25 Oct 03 - UPDATE:  We recently saw Marty in his new home in Canada, and he is very much a well loved family member.  The aim is to have his first 1* start in the new season, and we will look forward to seeing their results.

Formally known as "Moonrise", this 16.1hh, WB gelding, was initially sold to a home in Canada. After a season he was then onsold to a rider in Florida who absolutely adores her new horse. He placed recently at his first prelim of the season, and we are sure this talented horse is destined for great things.

15.3hh 12 yr old mare. Immaculately well trained, quiet natured mare. She has a very impressive performance record. Wins and placings at 4th level, and is schooling PSG. Piaffe and Passage are becoming established. Lovely changes, finds lateral work very easy. She is a soft and easy ride, with absolutely no vices. She loves to jump and to be hacked out on the beach and forest. She won her first training HT earlier this year, finishing on her dressage score. She is a clean quiet jumper, and is a pleasure to own and ride in every way.

Beautiful dark brown TB mare, rising 7 years old. Not only is this mare absolutely beautiful on the flat, but she is also a super clean and bold jumper. She won her first training event on her dressage score of 15.5! Doors has completed two Prelim horse trials, and placed 4th in her second trial. This placing was gained at the very tough NZ National One Day Championships in the Open Prelim class against horses with years of experience behind them. She has a wonderful temperament, and is soft and easy to ride. Doors has been sold to a fantastic new home in Georgia, USA. Her new owner has been searching for some time now for the right horse, and we are confident that she will have lots of fun and success with Doors.

16.1hh chestnut TB mare. 6 years old. This would have to be the sweetest, quietest TB mare around. She is absolutely safe and totally unflappable. She is competing Prelim with great success, and completed the Taupo CCI* with clean XC. She is beautiful on the flat - regularly scoring 68% to 72% in pure dressage competitions (2nd level). She is 100% bold and honest on cross country, and will totally take care of the rider. A very honest and reliable horse. She is a very honest show jumper, snaffle mouthed always, and is a real trier. She is the perfect amateur ride!!   Absolutely sound and vice free. Top Shelf (a.k.a. Lolly) has been sold to a NZ rider currently residing in the UK. She was purchased from photographs only, and we are absolutely confident that Lolly + Vicki will be a perfect match. Congratulations Vicki!!! What a great incentive to come home to NZ!!!

UPDATE:  Lolly has been a great hit in her new Christchurch home, and Vicki loves her new horse.  She is everything she had hoped for, and although Lolly is still only young, she is extremely quiet, and is very well schooled and totally genuine.

Another quality eventer owned and produced by Rangitihi Sport Horses. 16.1 1/2hh 9yr old grey mare. Granddaughter of the famous NZ eventing sire "Aberlou". She is good on the flat, clean and careful in stadium, and bold and honest on cross country. She has a very sweet and genuine nature, and really tries to please. She has won and placed at Prelim, and has now started Intermediate with success. Snaffle all 3 phases, totally uncomplicated. A dream, to ride and handle. Absolutely sound and vice free. Mary has been sold to an ambitious young rider in Austria, aiming for the European YR Championships. We wish Yasmin every success, and look forward to hearing about her progress.

16h, 10 year old, black mare. Advanced eventer with 130 points, Elementary dressage 130 points, and a very successful show jumper at 1.30m. This mare has completed 5 x CCI***'s and knows her job inside out. She is stunning on the flat, a clean and careful show jumper, and a bold and honest cross country machine. She is the perfect young rider horse, being hugely talented, yet easy to ride and handle in every way. Kowhai was offered exclusively to Kiwi Sporthorses to sell, and as expected, she was sold within days, to the very first person to view.

1 September 03 - UPDATE:   After finishing 2nd in the North American Young Rider Champs last year, at CCI* level, this year Ashley and Kowhai moved up to CCI**, and they won the title!  Ashley plans to take Kowhai advanced next season, and head for their first CCI***.

816hh 6yr old TB Mare. This fancy young mare was produced from scratch by Jo Shephard of Kaitaia.  She was sold shortly after her first CCI*, to a wonderful new home in Colorado.  Her new owner El, absolutely adores this mare, and Slinks can do no wrong!  We get very regular updates and photos of Slinks and El, and we have lost count of the number of wins and placings they have had at prelim!!

16.3hh 9yr old TB gelding. NRM Brown Bear has been sold to UK owners, currently based in the United States.   He is now being campaigned here in NZ by Melanie Jane Blair, who has got a wonderful rapport with the horse. They are now running intermediate, and aiming for their first CCI** in May 04.

16hh 10 yr old TB gelding. This is the ultimate packer. He is extremely easy to ride and handle, and will take absolutely any rider round their first three day event. He has won and placed at nearly every prelim start, and moved up to intermediate this year. He was 8th at his first int start, then had a win at his next intermediate start, and then went on to win the NZ National Intermediate One Day Champs (CIC**).

30 October 03 - UPDATE:  Nicole Shinton and The Grey Pony recently completed their second CCI* event, this time at Kentucky.  They finished in 6th place, and were the only top 10 combination to finish on their dressage score.  We travelled to KY to watch, and arrived just in time to see their best ever dressage test. Must have been the 3 kiwi good luck charms that did it!!

16.3hh rising 9 years old. NZTB x Irish Hunter. Lovely on the flat - excellent extensions and good changes. Great jumping style and a tonne of scope. He has won and placed in many Show Hunter classes, including championships. Competing to 1.15m show jumping. Currently eventing at training level with many wins and placings. More than ready to go prelim. A complete gentleman to ride and handle in every way - snaffle mouth all 3 disciplines. Great for the amateur who wants a genuine packer.

16hh rising 8 yr old TB gelding. Very talented young event horse. Very consistant at Prelim level, and ready to go Intermediate. CCI* and CIC* experience and well placed. Has been recognised as having the talent and attitude required to go all the way.

CCI** Eventer.  By NZ's leading sire of eventers, Aberlou (now deceased). Her full brother, "Tactics" is a hugely successful advanced eventer (exported to Italy).  The fanciest mare around, she was much loved by her breeder and new owner in the USA.  Sadly, "Mrs Robinson" suffered a dreadful paddock accident, and is no longer with us.  However her bloodlines live on through her extremely successful brother "Internet", an 8yr old stallion competing 4* and long listed for Athens 2004.

Shezabear's new owner has changed her name to "Kiwi Malarkey", so look out for her, competing in the Colorado area. Lark is a stunning 15.2hh 5 year old mare. Her NZ owner/breeder has done a wonderful job of producing her so far. She has won and placed nearly every time out, and it is no wonder she can win in any discipline. Show hunter, Show Jumping, Dressage, Eventing - she does it all! She is beautifully schooled on the flat, and has an amazing jump. Lark has an enviable technique over a fence, and is absolutely dead honest. Height is not an issue for her - 1.15m square oxer's are no trouble. Lark has won at training level already, and is now ready to go prelim. With all this talent, and a heart of gold, Kiwi Malarkey is a star for the future.

1 November 03 - UPDATE:  Well, this has to be a first!  Lark's new owner is moving from Colorado to New Zealand....and as she absolutely adores her Kiwi horse so much...she is bringing her back with her!!  Not only that, but where they will be living is 15 minutes away from Lark's old owner/breeder!!!  We can't wait to see them all back here!

16.2hh 8 yr old Intermediate eventer. Impeccible track record. 2nd in CCI*, ready for 2*. 10 starts for only 5 jump faults. This horse is dead honest. He does not stop. Will jump from any spot. Very clean show jumper, bold and honest. Snaffle mouth all disciplines. Fabulous young rider horse. Lovely calm dressage, never blows up and does not require much working in. Totally genuine. Clean x-rays. No known soundness issues.

16.2hh Intermediate eventer with many wins and placings - won his first Intermediate start. Puzzle was initially imported by a friend of the team here at Kiwi Sporthorses, but when his career took over his riding time Puzzle was put on the market again.  He was then sold to talented Canadian rider, Nicole Shinton, who learnt a great deal from him, before passing him on to his current owner, who provides him with a wonderful home in NY state. 

UPDATE: After a few months in the sun of Florida, Puzzle has now shipped back to his wonderful home in Canada. We are pleased to hear that he has been placed in the top few in each of his recent starts.

16hh buckskin Intermediate eventer. 8 years old. Fantastic young rider horse. Excellent dressage, bold honest jumper. Snaffle mouth all disciplines. Completed CCI* on dressage score.

16.2hh Trakhener mare, many wins and placings at Medium level dressage - 3rd level in USA terms.  Anna is living in Seattle in the US, and has a fantastic owner in Rosanna.  Catriona and Michelle met Rosanna for the first time recently, and she is quite clearly besotted with her Kiwi dressage horse!  We are thrilled that Anna has ended up in a home that not only appreciates her talent, but also looks after her with all the care in the world.

16.1hh chestnut Thoroughbred gelding. 6 years old. 4 Prelim starts for 3 placings. 4th NZ One Day Champs 2001, Open Prelim class. Cool and calm dressage, bold, clean athletic jumper. Absolutely no hassle horse.

Palomino WB mare, schooling PSG and has many wins and placings up to this level.  Harvest is now living the life of luxury as a broodmare, having just given birth (April 18 2004) to her first foal, a black colt by "Olympic Ferro"!
